WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS

After moving in a trading range, the FBM KLCI closed at 1,336.7 points to register a gain of 0.3% for the week.
Regional markets generally retreated as sentiment was dampened by recent credit tightening measures in China and the rise in Greeces cost of borrowing on its sovereign debt.
Looking ahead, the local market is anticipated to move in tandem with overseas markets. Investors will continue to monitor the outlook for the U.S. and global economic activities and interest rates.
